We are excited to share this opportunity to have your work displayed at the Bleeding Heart Art Space this spring in a new group show, curated by local poet and artists, Edward Van Vliet.
Image and text. Text and image. eikon and logos. Mark-making, markmaking, mark making.
Bleeding Heart Art Space is looking for artists that use words as their prime material, and poets who use text as image. Or vice versa. Or does it matter?
Work need not be wall-based. It can be on the floor, suspended, loose, bound. It can be unique or multiple.
Interested artists should inquire or send in a complete submission by Sunday, April 2, 2017 at midnight. Submissions should include up to 10 JPEGs that represent the work you would like to submit, an image list corresponding to the JPEGs (include title, medium, size, and price), as well as a CV and artist statement (up to 200 words).
